TOOLKIT
The toolkit is one of the most valuable modules from EmporiumPlus.
Easily and quickly extend the Miva Merchant 5.x store morph technology (SMT) coding system. The tool kit function library fills in many of the gaps in the SMT coding system by using the module's item tags, similar to those you are already familiar with in your page templates. You can even use the mvassign and mveval functions to run dozens of mivascript functions and expressions right in your SMT pages if you are familiar with the mivascript language or you look them up in the mivascript reference manual. It also contains many functions for extending the capabilities of your store without additional, expensive modules. The module is 100% compatible with MySQL, MivaSQL, store morph page templates, and skins.
MINI-BASKET DISPLAY
The mini basket module is from EmporiumPlus.
Display a brief summary of items currently in each customer's basket as they shop within a MIVA Merchant store, provide a storefront display of the shipping charges, and list their recently visited product pages in your store with quick link and add button.
TELL A FRIEND
The tell a friend module is from EmporiumPlus.
Provide an easy interface within MIVA Merchant for visitors to refer your site URL to their friends. The module uses the MIVA SMTP capability. The subject and body of the Tell a Friend email message is configurable through the Merchant admin interface. The form colors and fonts that the customer sees is also configurable in admin. You can choose to have a CC sent to the store email address and a log entry (date, from, to, product code - if applicable) maintained in a flat file when referrals are sent. If the customer sends the referral email when they are on a specific product screen, a second link to the product is included in the email.
COUPON REDEMPTION MODULE
The coupon redemption module is from EmporiumPlus.
Manage coupon addition and coupon redemption functions with this versatile coupon module. The module includes a real time coupon code generator which can produce unique coupon codes by embedding a coupon token in any store page and in emails which are capable of using the specific module token. It includes a coupon report in admin so you can review coupon usage history and evaluate marketing campaigns. In addition to the admin interface for adding one coupon at a time, you can import coupon details from a flat file for quick loading of coupon codes. For ease of use, it includes context sensitive help.
VOLUME PRICING
The volume pricing module is from EmporiumPlus.
Discount your product base prices based on the number of items ordered of identical products, eg 1-3 = standard price, 4-6 = lower, etc.
ADDENDUM
The addendum module is from EmporiumPlus.
Collect supplemental, required or non-required responses from customers at checkout. You can add as many additional checkout questions to your form as you want, within reason.
EXTERNAL PRODUCT PURCHASE
The external product purchase module is from EmporiumPlus.
This module allows a customer to purchase items which are not in your MIVA Merchant database. This is particularly suited for auction winnings, printed catalog items, donations, and classified ad items. It can also be used for sale of services or negotiated price items.
TEMPLATE DATA FEED
The template data feed module is from EmporiumPlus.
Template Data Feed exports your product and category data in the file formats required for multiple data feed submissions (Google Base (Froogle), Google Sitemap XML, Yahoo, Shopzilla, etc.) for inclusion in their ecommerce search directories and shopping portals. Improve your search engine optimization (SEO).
SHOW BASKETS
The show baskets module is from EmporiumPlus.
Display all open baskets in a table format. This report includes active and expired baskets. As a MIVA Merchant store owner you are able to see how many people come to your store and abandon baskets, even after placing items in the basket. In some cases, customers get to checkout and then abandon baskets and you can determine that too. You can use the module to check basket activity before closing the store for maintenance or deleting baskets in admin. As baskets are converted to orders, they disappear from this listing. Likewise, when expired baskets are deleted in Admin, they also disappear from this listing.- Basket ID - Number assigned when a customer visits your store
- Order No. - Incremented number (or retrieved from unused numbers) each time a customer enters their customer information at checkout
- Customer - Account info (if available) - Login, Ship To Name, Bill To Name (if different), Ship To Email, Bill To Email (if different)
- Product - Product codes in the basket at this time (may be empty or contain one or more)
- Expired - "Yes" indicates the basket was last refreshed more than the number of minutes for your basket timeout setting. A number indicates the number of minutes since last activity and the basket is not timed out.
RESTOCK SHELVES
The restock shelves module is from EmporiumPlus.
The MIVA Corp inventory management module for MIVA Merchant 4.x has resulted in numerous stores having their shelves temporarily cleared. As customers place products in their baskets, the store inventory level is decremented. If the customer decides not to buy at that time and leaves the store, the products in that abandoned basket remain unavailable. When the store owner manually deletes expired baskets in admin, those basket contents are reclaimed and the products are placed back in the store inventory. Stores which have one-of-a-kind or low inventory levels of products are significantly impacted as the products are not available for purchase by other customers until the store is manually restocked. Stores which have high traffic are similarly impacted when many baskets are abandoned. This module eliminates the need for the store owner to manually restock. At a frequency determined by the store owner, this module will reclaim the expired baskets and restock the shelves. When customers visit your store the timer will be checked to determine the last time expired baskets were deleted. If deletion is due, the next customer who clicks to a Miva Merchant PRODUCT screen will launch the shelf restocking routine.MAIL MANAGER
The mail manager module is from EmporiumPlus.
The ultimate MIVA Merchant autoresponder module - send specialized emails when customers checkout. These emails are in addition to or in place of the standard emails which are sent at order completion, e.g. merchant NOTIFICATION, customer CONFIRMATION, VENDOR specific notification, and even cell PHONE emails. It also includes the ability to send a WELCOME email when a customer creates a new account and include things like customer login and password and even promotion codes.
